From Considering a Burn to Into the Light

Head of Collections & Exhibitions, Riva Symko wrote about decolonizing museums in Anchorage Museum’s latest issue of Chatter Marks.

In the article, From Considering a Burn to Into the Light, Symko says, “If we are not willing to start from the radical point of seriously imagining the potentials and opportunities of a world without the burden of colonial institutions, then we are not seriously imagining decolonization.”
