Students are encouraged to bring their own DSLR camera, however they may also use the studio’s.
Some lessons may be held outdoors on the rooftop sculpture garden, or a nearby park (weather permitting). Please dress accordingly.
Students are required to bring a USB stick to each class to store their projects (8GB recommended)

Amber Eden
Amber Eden is an emerging artist born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She identifies as a painter and photographer, as she mainly works with oil and acrylic paint on canvas, as well as digital and analogue photography. Amber acquired her Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours from the University of Manitoba in the spring of 2020, and her Bachelor of Education from the same institution in 2022. Amber has been a part of exhibitions across Winnipeg, and has shown both her painting and photography work. In 2019, she received the Takao Tanabe Scholarship in Painting from the University of Manitoba, and in 2020 the Tania (Tye) Asper Memorial Prize for her work in painting. Amber is a part of private collections throughout Winnipeg, as well as the collections of the University of Manitoba. Amber is currently teaching art classes to youth in the Winnipeg Art Gallery’s Studio Programs. In her free time, she is also working on commissions as well as hosting Virtual Paint Nights as fundraisers or private events.
