Opening October 2024
Moments of disorientation are vital. They are bodily experiences that throw the world up, or throw the body from its ground. – Sara Ahmed, Queer Phenomenology, p. 157

Disorientation can be a lived effect of the social, cultural, and physical forces that push and pull us and our bodies in unintended and unpredictable directions. Disorientation both exposes and disrupts how our world is oriented. Through the artwork of Ekene Emeka-Maduka, Evergon, Kara Walker, KC Adams, Rosalie Favell, and Yasumasa Morimura, we see how disorientation uniquely affects the body, conceptions of self in society, and each other.
