Celebrate the opening of Riopelle: Crossroads in Time!

On Friday, May 31, join us in the Main Hall for the public opening of Riopelle: Crossroads in Time, a striking retrospective of one of the most important and prolific Canadian artists of the 20th century.

The show, organized by the National Gallery of Canada, features a chronological survey of over 50 years of Riopelle’s paintings, and includes a selection of his sculptures, prints, collages, and figurative drawings, as well as works by contemporary artists impacted by the artist’s life and work.

Enjoy cash bar and live music, hear remarks from Dr. Stephen Borys, WAG-Qaumajuq Director & CEO, guest curator of the exhibition, Dr. Sylvie Lacerte, and other special guests — then explore the exhibition for FREE!
