Free Sunday now includes Qaumajuq, an innovative new museum dedicated to Inuit art and culture that’s connected to the WAG on all levels. Discover the 185,000-square-foot cultural campus that is WAG-Qaumajuq, including the stunning Visible Vault showcasing thousands of carvings and much more.
This month, check out the new Qaumajuq activity booklet – children will enjoy learning about Inuit art though this engaging booklet made for kids!
Venture out into the snow and meet some happy snowman! Families are invited to play in the snow on the rooftop! Build a snowman and receive a prize generously donated by the organizers of The Last Snowman. Join The Last Snowman group on Facebook to share your snowman with everyone! (This activity is weather permitting).
To maintain safe distancing protocols, advanced registration is required with a timed ticket. Following the most recent provincial guidelines, WAG-Qaumajuq requires proof of vaccination from visitors to access indoor areas. See our health and safety guidelines here.
Free public parking is available at the Canada Life parking lot behind 100 Osborne Street North for visitors on Canada Life Free Sundays@WAG. As well, downtown street parking is free Sundays, and several bus routes service Portage Avenue & Colony Street as well as Portage Avenue & Vaughn Street.
