WAG-Qaumajuq’s collection also features works by significant British artists, from John Everett Millais to James Innes to Barbara Hepworth. The collection of 19th and 20th century French art includes the work of Anton Mauve, Henri Fantin-Latour, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, Eugene-Louis Boudin, Marc Chagall, and Yves Klein. The Gallery is also known for having one of the world’s most comprehensive collections of work by German Expressionist Walter Gramatte, as well as work by Karl Schmidt-Rotluff, Egon Schiele, and Erich Heckel. Another important area of the collection is 20th century American with work by artists such as Jules Olitski, Alexander Archepenko, Dennis Oppenheim, Ben Shonzeit, Dan Flavin, and Sol LeWitt.
