Amanda Onchulenko

Winnipeg, Manitoba

I am a Canadian and Australia citizen, a fibre artist and a painter and I spend school hours in a 100 year old building in Winnipeg’s Historic Exchange District creating compositions in colour. I majored in painting and Printmaking during my Art School Training in Australia and began exhibiting my Art Quilts Internationally in 2005. Colour and Composition are the principles that underlie all of my creative output. My work begins with the landscape and evolves through media to become a suggestion of place; a document of where I am informed by where I am from.
