Art to Inspire

Art to Inspire is a program designed to creatively engage people living with Alzheimer's disease, or other forms of dementia, and their care partners with visual art. Developed in partnership by the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, and University of Manitoba Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences.
Led by art educators and artists, Art to Inspire, offers six stimulating afternoon sessions in the galleries where participants will enjoy conversations around works of art and artmaking in a supportive setting. Each session will explore a different theme, and engage participants in different way that celebrate present-moment awareness and meaningful creative expression.
Six Week Session: Alternate Thursdays 2:30-4pm
Sept 13, 27; Oct 11, 25; Nov 8, 22
Cost: $90 per pair (includes care partner)
