WAG Offers Encore of World’s Best Commercials

Winnipeg, Manitoba, March 11, 2016: The Winnipeg Art Gallery is presenting an encore of the 2015 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Back for a limited time only, this annual compilation of award-winning commercials is being screened on select dates in March at the WAG’s Muriel Richardson Auditorium.

These mini-movies are “worth paying to see!” according to Winnipeg Free Press film critic Randall King. Representing almost every continent and spanning a multitude of cultures, the high-profile ads are a fascinating window to the world. Tickets are on sale now for the following dates:

Wednesday, March 30: 3:30pm & 7:00pm
Thursday, March 31: 7:00pm
Friday, April 1: 3:30pm & 7:00pm
Saturday, April 2: 7:00pm

Tickets are $14 or $12 for seniors, students, and WAG members. Purchase at wag.ca or in person at the WAG front desk. Many shows sell out, so it is recommended to get tickets early. Screenings include concessions and an evening cash bar.

Private screenings are available for organizations. To book, please contact events-associate@wag.ca or 204.789.1291.
