Art & Soul: London Calling a SELL OUT!

If you don’t already have your ticket to Jolly Old England – then bollocks – it’s too late! The Winnipeg Art Gallery is very pleased to announce they have sold out of tickets for the party of the year, Art & Soul: London Calling. Ticket sales were strong early on and culminated in a sell-out Friday, one day prior to the Saturday night event.

Art & Soul: London Calling features outstanding and interactive encounters on all four levels of the Gallery; with live DJs, access to the exhibitions, themes and music on every floor, costumes, tantalizing beverages, gourmet hors d'oeuvres, live art creations, and more. This year’s event showcases the talent of local music artists: Cash Grab, DJ Dow Jones, Blackout City Kids, and DJ DLO.

Between logistical demands errands and final décor arrangements, Art & Soul Committee Co-Chair Chad Falk comments, “To fill the WAG with 1045 people is the ultimate win for the organizers and for the Gallery. The countless hours have paid off and my whole team is set for an amazing time tomorrow night.”

“The excitement and buzz surrounding the event and resulting success in tickets sales is thanks to the work of our amazing volunteers who came up with a fantastic theme and who are right now bringing their creative skills to fruition on what may be one of the most spectacular sets we’ve seen for Art & Soul,” says Stephen Borys, Director.

Art & Soul: London Calling takes place on February 26 from 8pm until 2am. Tickets: $50 each or 10 tickets for $450.

The 2011 Art & Soul: London Calling planning committee consists of Chad Falk (Co-Chair), Johnny Picklyk (Co-Chair), Scott Angus, Ryan Behie, Jenna Boholij, Corey Dyck, Paulo Fernandes, Matthew Froese, Alan Goddard, Ryan Leggett, Rachelle Lemieux, Renee Lemieux, David Lewis, Vanessa Macrae, Tori Matichuk, Scott McCulloch, Pratik Modha, Lindy Norris, Kevin Parsons, Odessa Rosati, and Rob Thomas.
