Add-a-Companion Membership
Yes, you can add any one person you visit the Gallery frequently with – a parent, friend, partner, whoever! No, a companion can only be added with a Friend Plus membership, and comes free with a Partner membership. However, they can sign up for their own Friend (or other!) membership that includes free admission for a year.
Partner Membership
The membership cost of this level is $175, and that includes a number of great benefits unique to this membership level, including a coupon to the ShopWAG, invitations to special events, reciprocal admission at museums and galleries across North America (NARM), a subscription to Inuit Art Quarterly, and much more. This level is about giving back to WAG-Qaumajuq, and helping to make the Gallery more accessible to the community.
We have a minimum donation amount of $25, however there is no maximum – every donation amount creates more opportunity at the WAG. This includes free admissions and memberships for youth and Indigenous members of the community, a new initiative that was made possible by donors and members like you! Members who give donations of $1,000+ are automatically members of the Collectors Circle, and receive more unique experiences, while helping WAG-Qaumajuq make a deeper impact in the community.
Yes, your membership includes one companion who will receive their own membership card (digital membership cards will have both your names, but can be on your individual phones). Children aged 18 years and younger receive FREE admission to WAG-Qaumajuq and therefore do not need to be added to your membership.
WAG-Qaumajuq is a member of two reciprocal museum associations – the Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM), and the North American Reciprocal Museum Association (NARM). Reciprocal benefits can include free/members admission price, discounts in the shop, and discounts on ticketed events at member organizations under each association. Please check each individual website to see the benefits you’ll receive and which museums are covered under these respective programs.
