Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity Returns to WAG-Qaumajuq this Winter

Catch the World’s Best Ads in 11 Screenings!

Winnipeg, Manitoba, December 5, 2024: The Winnipeg premiere of the 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity launches December 20 at WAG-Qaumajuq. Screenings of the world’s best ads run from December 20 to February 21. A special media preview screening will take place on Tuesday, December 10, at 7pm. Presented annually since 1954, the Cannes Lions are the most prestigious international creative communications awards in the advertising and communication industry. This is a unique opportunity for Winnipeggers to experience the world’s most entertaining, inspirational, and humorous commercials, including a selection of bronze, silver, gold, and grand prix winners from the past year.

Join friends and family in the stunning Muriel Richardson Auditorium for a showcase of creativity that spans cultures and continents. Enhance your evening with snacks and a cash bar available at the screenings.

Quick Facts

  • Runtime: 105 minutes | Rating: PG
  • Doors open one hour before the first showing, with rush seating.
  • Tickets: $15 each and can be purchased at wag.ca/cannes. Many screenings sell out, so advance ticket purchases are highly recommended.
  • Cash bar available to purchase drinks and snacks.
