MakerLab: Stamped Jewelry with Green Light Collection

Make personalized jewelry even more personal by making it yourself!  You will have the opportunity to make two pieces of jewelry (necklaces and/or bracelets) out of your choice of sterling silver or 14kt gold material.  These pieces will feature a bar that you will customize by stamping a word or phrase of meaning to you.

$95/ticket; $90 for WAG members, $90 for 2+ tickets

MakerLab: Floral Self-Care with Just the Goods

After a lesson on the many benefits and uses of flowers in self-care, Milena Lye of Just the Goods will guide you through creating your very own blend of certified organic herbs customized to your needs.  You will leave the class with two 8oz jars of blended botanicals that can be adapted for use as a drinking tea, facial steam, face mask, bath salt, or hair care.

MakerLab: Mermaid Dolls with Charlotte's Dollhouse

Make your own mermaid with textiles artist Charlotte Sigurdson from Charlotte’s Dollhouse! You will learn how to assemble and customize an 18” mermaid doll using some basic sewing skills and your beautiful imagination. A wide variety of materials will be provided so you’ll be able to create a mermaid that is truly unique to you. These dolls make lovely display items or gifts for little ones.

WAG Studio offers many ways to explore your creativity with beginner and intermediate courses in a variety of media. Unless otherwise indicated, adults provide their own tools and supplies for classes. Students in beginner courses will be given materials for the first class, while those in intermediate courses should bring their own selection. Supply lists are handed out on the first day of class. For special workshops, materials are generally included in the class cost.

For students with little or no drawing experience, this introduction to the fundamental techniques and concepts of drawing will sharpen observational skills and build confidence. Practice translating what you see into what you draw as you work with different subjects, including still life studies and the human form.
