For students with little or no drawing experience, this introduction to the fundamental techniques and concepts of drawing will sharpen observational skills and build confidence.

Practice translating what you see into what you draw as you work with different subjects, including still life studies and the human form.

Disclaimer: Nude and/or costumed models may be used at the discretion of the instructor. Instructors will inform students beforehand if they opt to include models in their lesson plan.

Brenna George

Brenna George is best known for her thoughtful paintings, drawings, and short videos made from abstracting events in her life. Her style is a mix of journaling and humorist insights. She studied at Emily Carr. Her work is in the collection of the National Gallery of Canada and the Surrey Art Gallery. She has exhibited at the Grunt Gallery and ArtSpeak in Vancouver and NORVA in Flin Flon.
