Join us for the opening of two new exhibitions featuring top picks from the WAG vaults.

a matter of time, curated by TD Curatorial Fellow Nawang Tsomo Kinkar, explores the concept of spiral time. Participating artists include Colleen Cutschall, Tim Whiten, Hiram To, Meera Margaret Singh, Anna Wong, Shuvinai Ashoona, and many more.

Crying Over Spilt Tea, curated by Grace Braniff, is inspired by two common sayings: “spill the tea”  and “don’t cry over spilt milk” and includes the artwork of Dana Claxton, Natalka Husar, Annie Pootoogook, Joi T. Arcand, and Shōji Hamada.

These shows are part of a revamp of our permanent collection galleries highlighting old favourites and rarely-seen works in fresh ways. Come celebrate with the curators and enjoy a performance by Entertainer of The Year 24, Kymera. See you there!
