Join us for the opening of Inuit Sanaugangit: Art Across Time!

Celebrate this massive exhibition featuring nearly 400 works of art dating from 200 BCE to present day. This evening event will feature throat singing from Inuk artist Goota Ashoona and Mary Ashoona, beats by The Kaptain and a cash bar plus time to explore the exhibition.

Exhibition openings are FREE for everyone, we can’t wait to see you there!

Inuit Sanaugangit (sa-now-gan-eet or sa-now-gah-knee) is curated by Dr. Darlene Coward Wight and Jocelyn Piirainen.

Immerse yourself in Inuit art with a staggering selection of over 400 works produced by artists from Siberia, Alaska, Canada, and Greenland. Canadian work from the Contemporary Period will share creative highlights from Inuit communities across the Canadian arctic from Nunavut, Nunavik, Nunatsiavut, and the Inuvialuit Settlement Region.
