Every Other Thursday

6:00pm – 7:00pm

Ages 14 and up
Learn the art of acrylic painting, one painting at a time! This class is best for students that prefer to work at their own pace, as the lessons are in the form of pre-recorded video tutorials, allowing you to pause, rewind, and work at whatever time of day is best for you.  In the spirit of Spring, this session has a floral theme!

Every 2 weeks participants will be sent a video tutorial for a painting. Students will work on the painting at home, and meet biweekly with the class and instructor for a 1 hour live Q&A on Zoom.

The Q&As will occur at 6pm on May 5, May 19, June 2, June 16, and June 30.

Between Q&As, students are invited to share their work, and any questions they might have in a private Facebook group.

Painting themes/topics covered include:

  • Negative Space
  • Modern Impressionism
  • Lupine Floral Landscape
  • Painting Peonies
  • Bokeh

Students can choose to use their own supplies, or purchase a supply kit from the WAG.  Kits can be picked up at the WAG Studio by appointment.  Deadline to order supplies is April 2.

Video tutorials are sent out following the Q&A, along with a recording of the Q&A for anyone that couldn’t be there live.
