On Friday, May 13 we’ll be exploring INUA, Qaumajuq’s inaugural exhibition with WAG-Qaumajuq Associate Curator of Inuit Art, Jocelyn Piirainen!

INUA features a wide range of groundbreaking work is now on view in the 8,000 sq ft main gallery called Qilak, meaning “sky” in Inuktitut, the largest single gallery space devoted to Inuit art and culture.

See a dynamic integration of old, modern and contemporary works and experience innovative programming that weaves their stories together.



Fresh bannock with honey and wild sage butter

First Course:
Spinach + blackberry salad with puffed wild rice, sun dried cranberries, toasted pumpkin seeds + local honey lemon vinaigrette

Entrée Course:
Roasted arctic char, beetroot risotto, granny smith apples and horseradish
Vegetarian option: roasted butternut squash cannelloni with spinach, sage and soubise sauce

Dessert Course:
Salted crème caramel with fresh blackberries
