GroundSwell and WAG-Qaumajuq are thrilled to co-present NORTH/SOUTH, a unique gallery concert experience.

Featuring throat songs by Nikki Komaksiutiksak and Caramello Swan, as well as music for violas and percussion played by Melody McKiver, Jennifer Thiessen, and Ben Reimer. New collaborations/improvisations by Melody McKiver and Jennifer Thiessen, as well as group improvisations. Also, recent/new compositions by Melody McKiver, Jim Hiscott and more. The improvisations will be inspired by Inuit artwork on display in the Main Hall.

GroundSwell and WAG-Qaumajuq are thrilled to co-present NORTH/SOUTH, a unique gallery concert experience.

Come early at 6pm (before the concert) to view the spectacular collection of Inuit sculpture in Qaumajuq’s Visible Vault, as well as the curated selection of Inuit sculptures in the Main Hall presented alongside Wanda Koop’s painted series, View from Here.

Tickets are pay-what-you-can and available in advance or at the door.
