May 11

9:30am - 11:30am

Join us at WAG-Qaumajuq for a morning of art, flavour, and heartfelt celebration—a truly elevated way to honour the remarkable mother-figures in our lives.

On May 11, begin your Mother’s Day in the most delightful way, with a selection of freshly brewed coffee, fine teas, and sparkling mimosas. Guests will then be treated to a specially curated mothering-themed artwork tour led by WAG-Qaumajuq Head of Indigenous Ways & Learning, Julia Lafreniere.

This exclusive experience offers a guided journey through the gallery’s current exhibitions, including MOTHERGROUNDWinyanThreads of Kin and BelongingDisorientations, and highlights from the Permanent Collection. Each stop offers thoughtful insight, centering ideas of mothering in each artwork.

Following the tour, indulge in a gourmet four-station brunch buffet created by renowned Chef Luc Jean. See menu below.
