Students will try out a variety of media that may include drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and printmaking.

Encouraging creativity, projects can be layered, mixed, and occasionally take more than one class to complete.

There will be no classes on Sep 30, Oct 7, Nov 4, Nov 11.

Bree Bergen

Bree Bergen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (interdisciplinary) from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design as well as Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Manitoba. She has developed and facilitated visual art programming for Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre and the Luminato Festival, as an Artist in the Schools for the Toronto District School Board, and has also taught at the Canadian Mennonite University’s community school, Art City and the Manitoba Children’s Museum. Bree has led art classes for all ages at the Winnipeg Art Gallery since 2006. Her multi-disciplinary practice is rooted in image-making, and concerns points of exchange between the built and natural environments.
