As part of the programming for the exhibition Kwaata-nihtaawakihk – A Hard Birth, you are invited to share a family object that is important to you. Some examples are family photographs, teacups, musical instruments, sashes, or beadwork.

This will be an opportunity to share our individual and collective experiences as Metis people. We would love if you would join us for tea and a talk!

Hosted by Michif Elder Verna Demontigny & co-curators Dr. Cathy Mattes and Dr. Sherry Farrell Racette
