Join us for Living Archive: Discussions with Tasha Spillet and Zilla Jones.

On June 8, during Canada Life Free Sunday @ WAG-Qaumajuq, come experience the second Storytelling Workshop with Tasha Spillet and Zilla Jones. Spillet and Jones will discuss their approaches to storytelling and a conversation between Indigenous Nations and Black communities on Treaty One Territory., inspired by the Threads of Kin and Belonging exhibition.

This will be a collaborative discussion with the writers and the public surrounding questions such as; What does it mean to reclaim and rematriate your sense of self? How do we express these common threads, while supporting and loving each other and our unique perspectives?

Folks can also attend virtually via livestream (link coming soon).

WAG-Qaumajuq is an accessible space. There are gender neutral washrooms on every floor of WAG-Qaumajuq. Quiet spaces are available if needed and armless chairs are available. Face masks are recommended for this event and will be provided. Click here for more accessibility information.
