Monday - Friday

12:00pm - 4:00pm

Ages 13-17
Love reading comics and drawing? This graphic novel class allows students to explore the art of storytelling through illustration.

Students will explore character creation, humour, interactive art, and creative design. Throughout the week, students will make their own comics, as well as collaborative zine with peers.

Unique for the summer, students will have an opportunity to learn even more about the world of indie comics and local creators by working with Prairie Comics Festival organizer, Jay Cormack.  The class’s completed zine will even be distributed at the festival in September!

Some lessons may be held outdoors on the rooftop sculpture garden, or a nearby park (weather permitting). Please dress accordingly.
