Practice translating what you see into what you draw as you work with different subjects, including still life studies and the human form.
Some lessons may be held outdoors on the rooftop sculpture garden, or a nearby park (weather permitting). Please dress accordingly.

Pamela Todds Jeffrey: artist, musician, explorer, fellow traveler, teacher.
The paintings and drawings of Pamela Todds Jeffrey celebrate what moves her in nature and the internal world of her imagination. Utilizing over 40 years of experience making spirited works of art, she uses a vast array of different mediums including oil pastels, acrylic and oil paints, graphite, charcoal and more. Her range of subjects include portraits and figures, birds and animals, still life, urban landscapes and most recently, experiments in abstraction.
Pamela holds a degree in Fine Arts and French Literature from McGill University and received a professional teaching certificate from the University of British Columbia. She is also certified to teach the Alexander Technique (an educational process that supports healthy patterns of coordination underlying all activity) and is a member in good standing with “Alexander Technique Canada”. As well as being passionate about making Art, she plays traditional Irish music (Irish flute, whistle and lever harp) and has recently joined Winnipeg’s “Flatland Ceilidh Band”.
“I believe that there is something uniquely life affirming in creating a piece of work that has never existed before.” It is this belief that drives her to explore continuously with new techniques and materials which she willingly shares through her teaching practice.
