12:00pm - 1:00pm
On September 14, during Canada Life Free Sunday @ WAG-Qaumajuq, join curators Nestor Wynrush and Julia Lafreniere as they humbly say ‘baamaapii, gigaawaabaamin miinwaa / Until I see you again’ to Threads of Kin and Belonging artwork and the teachings that were brought.
Community is welcome to share their thoughts and reflections about the project. What does it mean to you? What are the next steps? What does it mean to reclaim and rematriate your sense of self?
We hope to see you there!
WAG-Qaumajuq is an accessible space. There are gender neutral washrooms on every floor of WAG-Qaumajuq. Quiet spaces are available if needed and armless chairs are available. Face masks are recommended for this event and will be provided. Click here for more accessibility information.
