Jan 9 '22 cancelled

11:00am – 5:00pm

Due to Manitoba public health advice to reduce public and group gathering, the Jan 9, 2022 Free Sunday has been cancelled. If you have already booked tickets for this date, we will contact you the week of Jan 3 to reissue tickets for an upcoming Free Sunday.

Join us on the second Sunday of every month for free admission to the WAG and more family fun, thanks to Canada Life! Free Sunday now includes Qaumajuq, an innovative new museum dedicated to Inuit art and culture that’s connected to the WAG on all levels. Discover the 185,000-square-foot cultural campus that is WAG-Qaumajuq, including the stunning Visible Vault showcasing thousands of carvings and much more.

To maintain safe distancing protocols, advanced registration is required with a timed ticket. Following the most recent provincial guidelines, WAG-Qaumajuq requires proof of vaccination from visitors to access indoor areas. See our health and safety guidelines here.

Free public parking is available at the Canada Life parking lot behind 100 Osborne Street North for visitors on Canada Life Free Sundays@WAG. As well, downtown street parking is free Sundays, and several bus routes service Portage Avenue & Colony Street as well as Portage Avenue & Vaughn Street.
