11:00am - 5:00pm

Join us on the second Sunday of every month for free admission to WAG-Qaumajuq and more family fun, thanks to Canada Life!

On June 8, visitors of all ages can explore the 185,000-square-foot cultural campus that is WAG-Qaumajuq, including the stunning Visible Vault, and take part in an art-making activity in the Skylight Gallery.

Join us for Living Archive at 1pm where Tasha Spillet and Zilla Jones discuss their approaches to storytelling and engage in a conversation between Indigenous Nations and Black communities on Treaty One Territory, inspired by Threads of Kin and Belonging.

Don’t forget, a drop-in tour will also take place in the afternoon:

  • Medieval & Renaissance Art at 3pm

Free public parking is available at the Canada Life parking lot behind 100 Osborne Street North for visitors on Canada Life Free Sundays@WAG-Qaumajuq. As well, downtown street parking is free Sundays, and several bus routes service Portage Avenue & Colony Street as well as Portage Avenue & Vaughn Street.

WAG-Qaumajuq is an accessible space. There are gender neutral washrooms on every floor of WAG-Qaumajuq. Quiet spaces are available if needed and armless chairs are available. Click here for more accessibility information.

Stories

WAG-Qaumajuq recognizes that land acknowledgements are part of an ongoing dialogue with Indigenous Nations, and we are grateful to live and work on these lands and waters. Institutionally, WAG-Qaumajuq is committed to acknowledging our colonial history and we are actively working to interrogate the Gallery’s colonial ways of being.

WAG-Qaumajuq is LEED certified.
