11:00am – 5:00pm

Join us on the second Sunday of every month for free admission to the WAG and more family fun, thanks to Canada Life!

Free Sunday now includes Qaumajuq, an innovative new museum dedicated to Inuit art and culture that’s connected to the WAG on all levels! Discover the 185,000-square-foot cultural campus that is WAG-Qaumajuq, including the stunning Visible Vault showcasing thousands of carvings, the inaugural exhibition INUA, and much more.

This month, complete two challenges and receive a FREE Family Tree art kit to take home (while supplies last)!

Challenge 1 – Snapshot Challenge:

Explore the exhibition, Rosalie Favell’s Family Legacy, then create your own unique family selfie in the Gallery!

Challenge 2 – Alloway Trivia:

Search the exhibition The Alloways’ Gift for the answers in the didactic information:

  1. What was William Forbes’ first job when he came to Winnipeg?
  2. When Elizabeth Alloway passed away, she donated the largest gift ever given to a charity for the time. What was the amount of her gift?
  3. Can you find an image for each of the following in the exhibition?
___ The Alloway Home  ____  A streetcar  ____  Main Street
