On February 9, visitors of all ages can take part in an art-making activity in the Skylight Gallery. Then join us for Threads: A Fashion Demonstration in the Main Hall! Threads is a celebration of Black History, culture and fashion from across the diaspora during Black History Month. This event will include a fashion show featuring designers Weani Designs and YNKstitches, talks by designers, a family-friendly dance party, and more—FREE for everyone!
Don’t forget, drop-in tours will also take place in the afternoon:
- Inuit Sanaugangit at 12pm
- Threads of Kin and Belonging, our newest exhibition, at 3:30pm
Free public parking is available at the Canada Life parking lot behind 100 Osborne Street North for visitors on Canada Life Free Sundays@WAG-Qaumajuq. As well, downtown street parking is free Sundays, and several bus routes service Portage Avenue & Colony Street as well as Portage Avenue & Vaughn Street.
WAG-Qaumajuq is an accessible space. There are gender neutral washrooms on every floor of WAG-Qaumajuq. Quiet spaces are available if needed and armless chairs are available. Click here for more accessibility information.
