11:00am - 5:00pm
Explore the 185,000-square-foot cultural campus that is WAG-Qaumajuq, including the stunning Visible Vault showcasing thousands of carvings and much more.
The activity for this upcoming Free Sunday event will be a free art-making activity in the Skylight Gallery. Inspired by the artwork of Lita Fontaine, visitors of all ages and art-making abilities can create a mixed-media artwork to take home. We’ll also have a special screening of Marianne Fever’s National Film Board film Riopelle in Ilipvik on the main level of Qaumajuq at 11am and a drop-in tour of Lita Fontaine: Winyan at 1pm!
Free public parking is available at the Canada Life parking lot behind 100 Osborne Street North for visitors on Canada Life Free Sundays@WAG-Qaumajuq. As well, downtown street parking is free Sundays, and several bus routes service Portage Avenue & Colony Street as well as Portage Avenue & Vaughn Street.
WAG-Qaumajuq is an accessible space. There are gender neutral washrooms on every floor of WAG-Qaumajuq. Quiet spaces are available if needed and armless chairs are available. Click here for more accessibility information.
