On February 11, join us for an art-making activity in the Gallery on the Skylight level, with special guests, the Government of Nunavut Artists in Residence! Then join us for THREADS: A Fashion Demonstration in the Main Hall! THREADS is a celebration of fashion, music and culture and will feature designers Mide Tamar, Feferitized Collections, Osachi Jewelry, and DJ Code-E. This event will include a fashion show, talks by designers, a family-friendly dance party, and more! As a part of Canada Life Free Sunday @ WAG-Qaumajuq, THREADS is FREE for everyone! Free public parking is available at the Canada Life parking lot behind 100 Osborne Street North for visitors on Canada Life Free Sundays@WAG-Qaumajuq. As well, downtown street parking is free Sundays, and several bus routes service Portage Avenue & Colony Street as well as Portage Avenue & Vaughn Street.
WAG-Qaumajuq an accessible space. There are gender neutral washrooms on every floor of WAG-Qaumajuq. Quiet spaces are available if needed and armless chairs are available. Click here for more accessibility information.
