Block printing is a printmaking method that involves carving into the surface of a block, rolling ink onto the surface, and pressing the block onto paper or fabric.

In this class, students will be introduced to relief printing techniques using linoleum and rubber blocks, and explore a variety of applications. Learn to create custom art prints, cards, textiles and more!

There will be no classes on May 22.

Instructor

Jeremy Wat

Jeremy is an illustrator, printmaker, and serial hobbyist. He loves learning, trying, and sharing art techniques and mediums. Jeremy’s love of drawing came at an early age and has developed into a passion for printmaking where he combines the two together. In addition to printmaking, he enjoys digital drawing and his newest fascination with rug tufting.
