This course provides a beginner’s understanding of animation process and techniques.

Students will work with claymation and other styles of animation if time allows. They will work on developing their own stories, characters, and designs to complete basic animation projects with emphasis placed on individual creativity.

Students are required to bring a USB stick to each class to store their projects (8GB recommended)

In order to help ensure the comfort and safety of all visitors and staff, the WAG has a mandatory face covering policy in place. We ask that all guests aged 5 and older wear a mask, scarf, or bandana that covers the nose and mouth while in public spaces at the Gallery.

As per our reopening protocols, we encourage physical distancing, tables/chairs/supplies are sanitized frequently, and all staff and patrons are asked to self-screen before coming.

You can read more about our safety measures here.
