Time will be spent sharpening your drawing skills in preparation for painting. Learn colour theory, shading, ways to describe space, use of light, composition, and the particularities of painting with acrylics. You’ll work from still life and models.
Disclaimer: Nude Models (both male and female) and costumed models will be used on occasion.
In order to help ensure the comfort and safety of all visitors and staff, as of August 11, the WAG has a mandatory face covering policy in place. We ask that all guests aged 5 and older wear a mask, scarf, or bandana that covers the nose and mouth while in public spaces at the Gallery.
As per our reopening protocols announced in May, we encourage physical distancing, tables/chairs/supplies are sanitized frequently, and all staff and patrons are asked to self-screen before coming.
