Discover the art of acrylic painting.

Time will be spent sharpening your drawing skills in preparation for painting. Learn colour theory, shading, ways to describe space, use of light, composition, and the particularities of painting with acrylics. You’ll work from still life and/or models.

Disclaimer: Nude and/or costumed models may be used at the discretion of the instructor. Instructors will inform students beforehand if they opt to include models in their lesson plan.

Kai Bergen

Kai Bergen is a multidisciplinary artist from Winnipeg, Manitoba. They work in watercolours, inks, pencils, and gouache. Their art is inspired by storytelling and mythology, as well as children’s books, comics, and literature.
