Senator Patricia Bovey on Into the Light: L.L. FitzGerald

In this six-part video series, hear from The Honourable Patricia Bovey, FRSA, FCMA, Senator for Manitoba and Director Emerita Winnipeg Art Gallery, as she visits Into the Light: L.L. FitzGerald at the WAG!

Throughout these short videos, Senator Patricia Bovey reflects on L.L. FitzGerald’s history, both his private life and his artistic career. She notes the transformation of FitzGerald’s works from Impressionistic to Realism, and to Abstraction. You’ll hear about some of FitzGerald’s influences, and some historic tidbits about the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
