Legislative Projections

Now until April 2 you can see Qaumajuq up in lights on our Legislative building – steps from the new centre!

The Province of Manitoba is projecting the words Qaumajuq and WAG on to the dome of the Manitoba Legislative Building in celebration of the opening of Qaumajuq. We thank the Province for their ongoing support for Qaumajuq.

Please note that WAG-Qaumajuq is closed to the public Thursday, March 25 and Friday, March 26 as we celebrate the virtual opening of Qaumajuq at 6:30pm at wag.ca/opening. We can’t wait to welcome you officially on Saturday, March 27 during our Canada Life Free Days!

WAG-Qaumajuq recognizes that land acknowledgements are part of an ongoing dialogue with Indigenous Nations, and we are grateful to live and work on these lands and waters. Institutionally, WAG-Qaumajuq is committed to acknowledging our colonial history and we are actively working to interrogate the Gallery’s colonial ways of being.

WAG-Qaumajuq is LEED certified.
