In Pictures: Gallery Ball 2018

Date: Oct. 13, 2018 Winnipeg Art Gallery (WAG) Gala on Oct. 13, 2018. Photo by Jason Halstead

The Winnipeg Art Gallery held its annual black-tie fundraiser on Saturday, October 13, 2018 with proceeds supporting the WAG’s Youth Outreach and Education programs. Thank you to everyone who came out to support! Guests dined in the galleries surrounded by The 80s Image and Salon Style: Reimagining the Collection with flowers inspired by the art on display. From exciting live and silent auctions to a surprise performance by the Manitoba Underground Opera and the delectable dessert gallery, this year’s Ball was a night to remember. And thanks to Ball supporters and guests, thousands of young people in our community will see and experience more through art. A special thank you to Wanda Koop, the Gallery Ball 2018 Honorary Chair, who lent her name and her story to help us underscore what the Ball is all about. Photography by Jason Halstead.
