The closure includes upcoming events and public programs. If you registered for this weekend’s Canada Life Free Sunday@WAG on May 9, you will receive priority booking to reserve space for our next event.
Our retail locations are also temporarily closed to visitors starting May 8, but the Gallery Shop remains open for curbside pick-up tomorrow, May 8 then Tuesday-Friday 11am-5pm, and anytime at shop.wag.ca
We will continue to monitor the situation closely. For the most current information, and an artistic diversion, check out wag@home
Please note, our offices are closed May 10-14 as all full-time staff are on vacation. Should you have any questions, please email us at communications@wag.ca and we will respond upon our return after May 17. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Thank you for your support and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Gallery soon.

To all the staff – take care and stay safe.
I look forward to visiting quamajuq when the art gallery re-opens.
Can you please let me know when you will be opening the shop at the Forks. I am a volunteer with the WAG and was doing a shift on Saturday from 12-3 pm at the Forks. The shop was closed last Saturday. Will it be closed for the foreseeable future?
Hi Diane,
Thank you for being a WAG-Qaumajuq volunteer! Both of our Shop locations are temporarily closed for in-store shopping. Curb-side pick-up is available at our Gallery location, Tuesday-Friday, 11am-5pm. We anticipate re-opening both locations once restrictions ease up a bit!
Has the WAG reopened since Jun 26?
Unfortunately, restrictions for galleries and museums have not been lifted yet, but fingers crossed we can open soon!
