Black Rock Senegal, the residency program established by artist Kehinde Wiley, has announced 16 artists who will travel to the West African city of Dakar, Senegal, for the 2021 program in the famed artist’s studio.

Of the 16 international artists invited to attend, Esmaa Mohamoud was the only artist selected from Canada.

The WAG extends congratulations to Esmaa Mohamoud, who will be featured in an exhibition at the Winnipeg Art Gallery in 2022.
