So Surreal Family Sunday at the WAG

Winnipeg, MB, October 28, 2014: Unlock your imagination and step into the surreal world of Salvador Dalí and many others! Join the WAG for So Surreal Family Sunday, from 1:30 to 4pm on Sunday, November 2.

Inspired by the Dalí Up Close and Masterworks from the Beaverbrook Art Gallery exhibitions, bring family and friends to enjoy a fun interactive performance by Lulu and the Tomcat. Play weird and wacky games of chance, participate in a dream-inspired artmaking workshop, and moustache-making-madness. The afternoon is perfect for a Dalí-inspired photo op. There will be outrageous fun for the whole family!

“WAG Family Sundays are a great way for parents, grandparents, and kids to have fun together and learn about art,” comments Rachel Baerg, WAG Art Educator. “The Gallery is full of activities that get everyone involved.”

Join the WAG on Family Sunday for an afternoon of music, story-telling, and art making, a great way to spend quality time with your children or grandchildren. Family Sunday programs make exhibitions come to life for viewers of all ages. Discover your own way to connect with art.

Admission to Family Sunday is $10 per family, WAG members are free.
