Rentals & Program Lead (Casual)
Reporting to the Rentals Coordinator, this position is responsible for supervising all rentals and events at the WAG. Working mostly evenings and weekends, the responsibilities include liaising with rental clients, supervising bar staff and volunteers. They will also ensure clean up crews are started prior to leaving.
Starting wage: $18.59
Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up, supervise and close WAG bars at events
- Supervise staff and volunteers at bars and events
- Ensure cash controls are followed
- Work with public and ensure excellent customer service is followed at all times
- Solve problems and issues as they arise
- Communicate with the Learning & Programs Coordinators and Rentals Coordinator regarding any issues encountered
- Ensure that WAG policies and procedures are followed in the course of performing duties
Qualifications
- Able to work weekends and evenings
- Good communication skills
- Hospitality experience
- Smart Choices Certification
- Driver’s License an asset
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Bondable
- Ability to multi task and work independently
- Good problem solver
- Own vehicle would be an asset
- Bilingualism an asset
