Gallery Shop Sales


Under the supervision of the Retail Operations Manager, the incumbent in responsible for all direct sales functions. Must be friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable retail professionals who love interacting with visitors and who are committed to delivering outstanding customer service.


• Welcome WAG patrons in a friendly and positive manner;
• Efficiently facilitate sales and transactions;
• Correctly answer inquires for information about the WAG’s exhibits, programming, and
• Process all transactions, track sales, and balance till at end of day
• Ensure the physical shop location is tidy at all times and supplies are well stocked
• Assist with uploading information and images to online store
• Process, pack, and ship online sales orders
• Assist in content development for ShopWAG Instagram account
• Other duties as assigned


• Minimum 3-5 years of retail or service industry experience preferably in a visitor attraction, museum, gallery, hotel, or theatre environment; or combination of experience and education.
• Self-starter with proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work in a team environment with little supervision
• Willingness to learn new technologies if needed


• Arts education background an asset
• Bilingual (French- English)
• Ability to speak and write an Indigenous language


Pay rate: $13.10/hour
